Under beautiful sunny skies, we took the Governor's Island Ferry to explore an urban farm and learn about composting in New York City.  Natalie Saenz, PhD candidate in Chemistry at Columbia University led the tour and gave us insights about how human ecology takes into consideration the good of the human person and dignified living conditions for all sectors of society.
